Labels? Nuke them from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Or +1 on the oxyclean soak if you don't have access to nuclear weapons.

+1 on oxyclean you don't even have to peel them off they fall off. Glue and all

I soak them for an hour then use a paint scraper. Easy as pie.
