Removing black rubber from keg
Is it ok to remove the black rubber top and bottoms from kegs? I don't have room in the keezer for one, plus CO2 tank, but I think I could get two without tops and bottoms.

It won't sit flat. The bottoms are curved. It's also going to be difficult to lift without handles. But yes you can remove the rubber.

It won't sit AT ALL.
That being said, if you wedge a few of them in there (so they support each other), it could work.

How much room do you need ? Cutting the top off will gain nothing it will not lower the disconnects. Cutting off the bottom off 1/4 to 1/2 inch ?
