Default Refrigerator conversion question

I'm gonna buy a mini fridge tonight and start to convert it, my only question is some have freezers in them at the top. Can I remove this easily and without imparing the fridge or should I look solely for a fridge only no freeze compartment?

the freezer compartment is filled with coolant so are non-removable and are brittle enough to break open if bent usually. go for one without the freezer or with one where the freezer clears the top of your kegs.

The freezer area can be bent down and there are some that the freezer area can be incorporated into the fridge. On my Frigidaire model there is a shelf that seperates the freezer from the fridge and after that is removed two kegs fit in great. It would be easiest with a mini fridge that doesnt have a freezer but it is very doable in ones that do.
