The Randall at the Austin Zealots Picnic
|
|
Well, the Home Brew Club Summer picnic on Lake Austin was a hit. We had over 26 different kegs of beer (at last count). Randall was back.
Talk about Extreeeeem Hopness.
Loads of beer, good food, good fun.

Is that... is... is that like eighteen pounds of hops? I don't know how the hell that works, but I'm impressed...

They worked pretty well off a four port manifold dialed down to 5 lbs.

Ya, you betcha! That was at 2:00 PM before all the kegs showed up. The Beer2Go Portable Kegerator was a big hit as well. Loads of folks checking it out and enjoying some 8% Applewine.

I haven't had the fortune to be able to compare beer served with a Randall, and without. How much of a difference are talking about with hop aroma? Is it worth putting one together for serving IPAs at events?
