Finally filling my first keg, and I just realized that I don't know how much head space to leave. 1", 2", 3", 4"?

Filling two kegs right now so your answers are greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys. The first keg I started had a 2" air side tube which required I drain almost a quart off. I now have my first two kegs gassed up - I'm going to watch an episode of Battle Star Galactica and then run my last gas line to leave them under pressure to carb up.
