Default Quick Kegging Question

I currently have a two tap kegerator and four full kegs. Is it alright to drink about half a keg and then swap it out with a new keg and let the original sit at room temperature until I want to re tap it? Will this affect the beer left in the keg (being cold and then warmed and then cold again)?

Thank you

I often do that, and so far it's worked out just fine. I think you'd have good results, too.

Does that affect the carbonation of the beer in the keg that you take off the gas?
