Default Question about carb tabs

How long do they usually take to carbonate? Back of the package says 1 week. I bottled last thursday and decided to try one today, figuring that if they weren't all the way carbonated, they'd be carbonated enough for drinking. Turns out it hasn't carbonated one bit... I am very confused. left them at fermentation temp (66 degrees) until tuesday night, then put them in the fridge... any thoughts?

Give 'em a little shake and warm them up...At 66F it's bound to take longer.

I had the same thing happen to me. I turned all of the bottles upside down and then right side up one-by-one and let them set for another 3 weeks. They're all carbonated as expected now. Just give them time.

I don't know why the package says that. It takes about 3 weeks at 70° for dextrose to carbonate beer whether it is in loose form or pressed into little tablets.

Okay, well they're in the fridge now so they should carb up faster
