Default priming ratio?

Whats the ratio or DME per gallon when bottling?

When priming with DME you use 1.25 (1 1/4) C of DME and 2 C water boiled for 5 mins for the entire 5 gals.

Watch out for a boil over even with this small amount.

I have a 3 gallon batch that I am looking to prime, would 3/4 be ok for this?

Right: 1.25 / 5 = .25 *3 (gals) = .75 or 3/4 C...

Just in case you are interested in altering carbonation levels for different styles (definately not required), you could use the following link.
