Default primed 5 gal with 1.5 cup DME

.25 cup per gallon so I did a gallons worth of too much.. should I worry about bombs? It's quite carbed after just a week

The priming DME is not too much. What really matters is if your fermentation was completed.

If you have a good carbonation level (that you like) then it's time to place them in the fridge to retard further carbonation.
