hey guys, I picked up a whole keg kit on black friday and have had it in use for about 3 months. Everything seemed fine with my 5# tank, but yesterday the gauge read nearly 0 psi at the high pressure. I pulled the tank and weighed it, then had it filled. Turns out I had 1lb left in it, but oh well now its fresh.
So last night after being paranoid about a leak, I killed the gas at the main shutoff but left the lines connected to my 4 way regulator chain and also hooked up to two kegs. Overnight the pressure dropped in the lines and read around 5psi on all the regulators. I leak tested this morning with soapy water and found nothing.
If the line pressure drops when the tank is shut off, is it safe to assume there is a leak somewhere in the system? This seems like a no brainer, but I leave the gas on at all times and the 5# tank lasted about 5 kegs of force carbing (and probably wasting co2 not knowing what I was doing at first) so that would have to be a SLOW leak, right?
