Default Portable Kegging 2.5 vs. 3 gallons and other ?s

Ok this may seem like a stupid question but Rebel brewer has the 2.5 gallon and 3 gallon portable kegging system for the same price. Does anyone know the dimensions of each off hand? I am having a hard time trying to decide between the two. I guess if they are comparable in size I would go with the 3 gallon size. Also is there any advantage to a picnic tap vs. a faucet? I do not have room at home to keg but would be interested in kegging homebrew for parties. Thanks in advance for any help!
