Default pin lock soda kegs

i am using the pin lock style kegs for the first time. i see that the fittings come in different size ID versions. is there an advantage with the larger 1/4 inch line ? is there a size hose that works best. i need to plumb this keg system before i use it.

Unless you are making a long run (~20 ft), use 3/16th. There are a number of threads on pressure balancing, but I just put 12' of 3/16ths on each tap and deal with a slower pour for low-carb beers.
