From what I've read some folks have had issues mating 525ss faucets with shanks. I recommend you get the faucets and stainless steel shanks from the same retailer, in the hope that they'd supply shanks that actually work well with the faucets or at least they'll solve any problems that arise with a minimum of fingerpointing. That's how I went and I had no problem with six sets...

Don't get the 575. I got one because I wanted to be able to foam up stouts and "save" from using nitro. The creamer function on mine doesn't really do anything. Opening the valve forward halfway as someone else suggested for a 525 works better.

And yes, people will screw it up and accidentally push the handle back.

I have one 575, no 525s. It is neat, but I can see how people think it is gimmicky. I had an amazon gift card and found it cheap so I cannot complain too much. I'll eventually switch out my cheap faucets for 525s, but will keep the one 575 just to use on stouts. Maybe go with one and keep the rest 525s?
