Default Painted Bottles

Does anyone have a method of removing painted labels from bottles? I have an idea I want to try on some red stripe bottles but I need to remove the existing paint first. Or do you think I should just scrap the idea

Plan: Remove the label from a bottle and then spray paint on a grenade! Maybe come up with some Hand Grenade Heffe

soak a few days in StarSan. It works on most of the bottles I've tried, but a few (Rogue) won't ever come clean.

I believe EdWort was first to introduce this method to the board.
