Default Opening a Bass Keg

Work sent me out to VA and there are a bunch of homebrewers out this way. I was talking to a couple and they asked me how to open a Bass keg. I haven't seen the keg, so I couldn't really tell them what they were hoping. Anyone here ever open up a Bass keg?

- remove snap ring
- pull up on both "ears"
- Rotate counter clockwise while pulling on both ears.

PM me your email address if you want the pictures.

I still haven't seen the keg yet, anyone have a picture of what the snap ring looks like?

Conrad, that is a snapring for an american keg. The bass keg looks completely different from what was described to me.
