Once they are cold and pressurized, can kegs be moved out of the kegerator without it hurting the beer?

Can they be chilled and allowed to warm back up?

I'm disinclined to try it myself, but I'm having a hard time finding a reason why it'd be harmful, I mean so long as it remains under pressure. I've taken cold bottles all the time out of refrigeration and later cooled them back off with no ill effects. A keg is just a big bottle, right?

I'm going to say that it should be OK. But you try it first.

You're fine. I do it all the time to provide "public" beers when company is coming over. As long as they stay at room temp...it's no different than pulling a bottle of beer out of the fridge and sticking it in the cabinet for a while.

You know when I was a young lad we used to think that letting the beer go from cold to warm to cold again caused skinkiness. Later we just realized that the Little Kings we were so fond of were just skunky all the time anyway. ;)

Yeah I do this all of the time. Cold to room temperature is fine, just don't let your kegs get hot
