I make 3 gallon batches of beer at a time and am looking for an alternative to bottling. I was thinking of conditioning in 5 liter mini-kegs. Does anyone know of a good mini-keg dispenser that cools and keeps the beer carbed with Co2?

Here is what I did: http://instructables.com/id/Krups-Beerteender-Conversion

Avanti, and some others, make purpose built mini dispensers but they are fairly costly. If you look up Craig's List, you can typically find a Krups Beertender for around $50, I found my tap kit fit around $70, CO2 tank for $30 and then like $20 for some adapters.

You should be able to do this for below $200...but it does kinda getting close to kegerator price, but much more compact.

I dig mine and the only issue I have is how short a mini last at a party
