Default Kegging a Stout

I don't care for Stouts so I don't brew them that often. A good friend has been after me for a long time to brew him a Stout and keg it for him. I brewed him an Oatmeal Vanilla Stout and I will prime it in a Corny Keg. Would it be beneficial for him to use nitrogen instead of CO2 in his Kegerator to smooth out the Stout?

Nitrogen will only be beneficial if he has a stout faucet. Otherwise, it's pointless.

Also, just in case, it's 75% Nitrogen and 25% CO2.

Great timing, I was wondering the same thing the other day. I have the faucet and mix tank, so if I do brew a stout should I prime the keg with straight CO2 or the CO2/Nitrogen mix?

Force carb with CO2, then put it on nitrogen or beer gas.
