Today I plan on kegging my newest IPA, but I am not going to force carbonate it (no Space). So my question is how much sugar do I use? I have heard 5 oz is a little much.
It depends of much life you want it to have. I like fizz in an IPA 5oz sounds fine.
I prime my kegs with DME. About 3/4 cup does fine.
It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, then to speak and remove all doubt.
From all my readings, priming a keg only requires HALF of what you would normally use to prime bottles.
