Default Kegerator, what kind?

For my 30th birthday, I am buying myself a kegerator. I found this one

KC2000SS EdgeStar Full Size Kegerator And Keg Beer Cooler

I am looking for what people think of this one or if they have any suggestions for a good one like this.

There are a few people here that have those--Yuri, Kornkob, EdWort to name a few. Personally I would go with a keezer (freezer converted to a kegerator) because, depending on size, you could fit so many more kegs.

You are going to have to upgrade the tower and add faucets if you want to serve more than one beer at a time--I'm pretty sure you can fit 3-4 cornies in there.

My .02, but if you want some ideas, you can view plenty of kegerators in a dedicated thread somewhere around here.

I have to agree with the Lion. Where is it going? Do you have size constraints? If you have the room I would go with the keezer. FOr that price you could get everything for 4 full perlick taps.

That unit does look really nice though if you are not interested in DIY. I am sure it is quality albeit overpriced compared to a DIY.

Build your own for less than half that price:

That looks nice. I am pretty lazy and not very handy with power tools. How easy is that small black one? Do you have some plans for it?

It's so easy to do.
