Default Keg Parka?

Has anyone used a keg parka before? I am getting ready for the spring/summer and would like to take my brew to picnics and bbqs. I have looked at jockey boxes, but that might be a bit of overkill. I was also considering the party pig and the pig pen but I already have kegs and would rather stick with them.

I was looking at the 40 Below parka, carried here by Northern Brewer:

Has anyone had any success with them? Any problems? I would also be using an ice blanket in between the keg and parka.

This seems a lot cheaper/easier/more effective:

I'm building a portable cooler tap box for this summer. It'll be for 3G kegs though.

Once I get the collar made for it, my little kegerator will hold 3 or 5 gallon kegs.
