Default Keg delicious to bottle... Suddenly green

Kegged up an imperial stout and it was delicious and perfect. Moved it to bombers for my brother for his birthday. Carbonation stayed pretty much the same but new green flavors showed up all of the sudden. Only thing i can think of is bottle contamination? Any ideas?

Could be oxidation - did you use a beergun/cpf or just pour from the faucet? How long was it in the bottle before serving?

Could be Bottle Shock, due to a little bit of oxygen being absorbed into the beeer during the bottling process. It probably won't ruin the beer but it may take days or weeks to recover. At least that's what I've experienced with wine.

That could be. I poured straight from the faucet leaving about 1/4" head space in the bottles. Don't get me wrong, it's nothing gross or really off, just a slightly different profile and a little green tasting. I was guessing it was a bit oxygenated so I told my brother to let the bottles age for another month or so.

Next time you do this, put a piece of tubing or a bottling wand into the tap and fill from the bottom up. You introduced a ton of air to the beer.

I thought about grabbing a growler filler from work to bottle with but assumed (wrongly I suppose) that the beer would displace the oxygen with the same amount of contact either way.

No because as you fill the bottle it is swirling in oxygen as it fills and loses all its CO2

That would explain the slight drop in carbonation too. It's still carved decently but not to the perfect level I had in the keg. I'm assuming that will not correct itself over time even if the green flavor does
