Default Just Did My First Keg!

Well i just filled my first keg..i got a lot of good ideas from people on here..like the one of cutting off 3/4 of an inch from the tube inside the cornie...keep any sediment from getting in my beer glass..i have a few questions though..i put about 20 psi into the keg after i filled it and pulled the pop off for a few seconds the get the air out of the head space..now should i let it set to start the forced carbonation as soon as it gets cold ?as in shakeing the crap out of it a couple times every day for a few days then let it set for a week or so to clear..and also i have about 5 feet of 5/16 hose going to my tap and if i'm right this should be a fairly balanced system for serving at 5 psi..it's ..a muntons kit..export pilsner..i have been useing their kits for a while and they allways come out great..this beer is for my girl friend she likes the weak stuff give me a scottish heavy ale any day!!!thanks for any help you great folks can give me...

If you are willing to wait a week, just put it under pressure and let it sit. No need to go through any shaking and rolling stuff if you are willing to be paitent. Boyle's Law works whether you shake it or not.
