Default I love my plate filter!

So I just tapped my blonde ale yesterday that I filtered. Here is a pic of the beer. I just wanted to show you what a filtered beer looks like in case anyone is thinking of getting a filter. Oh I use the plate filter from morebeer.com. I know that it isn't a necessary step in making great beer but it sure looks great.

Nice! But you don't need a plate chiller for clarity
Cold crashing does wonders.

Cold crashing does work too but I have had mixed results I guess. Sometimes my racking cane will slip into the yeast and pull up gunk. I actually did a 10g batch of this blonde and only filtered 5g. The other batch was cold crashed and racked to the keg but was much cloudier.
