how long is too long in secondary?
i have a carboy that has been sitting, dry hopped since October 2012. i know this sounds pathetic but i have not found time to bottle it yet. how long is too long to let it sit and am i just wasting my time, i don't want to open it to sample it until i am ready to bottle it. anyone have any thoughts? OH, it is a pale ale currently at 59 F.

I'm no expert but if you see and smell no signs of infection I would prepare to bottle it, sample and bottle if it tastes good. I have done some months long secondary amd tertiary ferments in the past with good results

All of the dry hop aroma and most of the flavor will be long gone by now, but the beer should be fine. If it were me I'd add a bunch more dry hops, let them sit for 7-10 days, and then bottle it.
