Default How long in the fridge before drinking.

How long should bottles be cooled in the fridge before drinking. I have been putting in a 6 pack one evening and drinking it over the next 2 nights. Is the carbonation complete at room temperature or does it need time cooled to finish?
They have been very good so far.
I have family visiting next week so I will stock the fridge with plenty tomorrow morning. Then I will get some that have cooled longer.

The carbonation is all made at room temps. Cooling the beer allows the Co2 to go into solution.
I have put a sixpack in the fridge and drank as soon as cold. I also think the flavors condition and meld after 1-2 weeks in the fridge.
So my opnion on it is drink them if you don't have any cold or if you have the capacity, keep all of them in the fridge for a week or so.

I had family over last weekend and they wanted to try a brew that had never been in the fridge. After 2 hours in the fridge, it was fine. Lots of carbonation and good thick head.

3-4 days would've been better though.

Try putting a sixer in the back of your fridge for 3 weeks though. Depending on the type, you may be pleasantly suprised.

Thanks, I just wondered if I was drinking all of them before they were ready. Now that they are properly conditioned at room temperature I will stock up the fridge!

The longer in the fridge will allow it to clear up as well. I have some orange APA that has been in the fridge for about 2+ months and it is outstandingly delicious and clear. The taste of a well conditioned beer will cause one to appreciate the benefits of patience! Having a lot of other beer on hand to drink in the meantime doesn't hurt either!
