Default heineken mini kegs

does anyone know if the heineken mine kegs are the same as the ones sold at midwest. they look the same in the pictures. are the ones sold at midwest reusable? if so i wonder if the heineken kegs can be reused also. i have several was going to throw away but wanted to check first.

The heineken kegs that fit in those little counter-top kegerators are not the same as the ones you find other beers in at the store, or the mini-kegs you can get from a LHBS.

Heineken entered into an exclusive deal with the company that makes those little kegerators, so the only thing that comes in that kind of keg is Heineken.

That exclusive deal is about to run out (early next year, I think) so more beers will be available in that style of keg (and maybe empty new kegs will be available, too)
