I seem to be having trouble tonight every pale ale I get from my keg is Half Beer Half Foam I turned the regulator down to 5psi but still the same. The head settles out quick and I am pretty buzzed so things are good!

Sounds like you just over pressurized.

Back it down to 8 lbs, blow off excess gasses for a day or too, by drinking if needed and all will be well in a few days.

I often get this when I force carbonate at 20 psi.

Once you lower the pressure it will settle right down.

Don't let that sucker sit at 5. What will happen is the CO2 will come out of the beer (since it's higher pressure) and will come through your beverage line as bubbles causing even more foam.

Sorry but that defies the laws of physics. The CO2 will come out of the beer still in the keg into the head space. The beer in the line will just travel slower.

The end result might be disappointingly flat beer.

Better yet turn the petcock at the regulator off and bleed out the air avery few hours for a couple of days. Only turn the gas on if you need it to push out a pint.
