Default Force carbing in sanke keg, too much space?

I inherited a sanke keg and want to try my hand at force carbing, using the set and forget method for a couple of weeks. If I put a 5 gallon batch into the keg and hit it with CO2, am I wasting a lot of CO2 because of the the extra 10 gallons or so of space in the keg? And/or will that create any problems?

I wouldn't think you would be wasting a TON but when I use my 10 gal keg I either brew 10 gal or 2 5 gal batches and ferment in buckets then dump both in the keg. Problem solved!
