Default Fixing keg threads?

Does anyone have any ideas for fixing some boogered threads on a corny keg post? A keg I received last week has a very tight post, and looking at the threads I can see why. It looks like someone either cross-threaded it or forcibly installed the wrong size post. It made little metal splinters when I removed the post, and I'd rather not drink those.

I've tried looking for a 19/32-18 die, but google isn't helping. Does such a die exist?

It is possible that the Liquid post you are speaking of has the wrong thread size. Check out this site to see the thread size per the manufacturer of your keg.

You might just need to buy a new post. But to answer your question I believe you are looking for a metric M16x1 Fine tap which is only .00315" smaller than 19/32.

Maybe you can chase those threads with the 19/32 die and then use a good portion of teflon tape (I always do anyway).
