Finally...fist time kegging!

So I took the leap. Kegged for the first time last night. Can't say I will ever go back to bottles. Sooo much easier. Now I just need some more kegs, more CO2 tanks, taps, etc. The wife will love the fact that I need more sh*t for my brewery. :cross:

I love kegging but plan on every 4-5th batch, putting a few in bottles. I want to try some that are months old and my kegs never last that long even though I don't drink everyday. It's amazing how much beer can be gone when you have 3 full kegs and friends over on Sundays for football. I'm going to have to charge a fee!
But, I save so much time kegging and just can't give it up. Clearer beer, I can drink as little as I want if I don't want a full glass. I can take a taste test whenever I feel like it without wasting much. You just can't say anything bad about it IMO.

Agreed to above, I have everything I need to build a 3 tap Keezer I just haven't gotten around to building it. I plan on bottling some right from the kegs to give away or take with me when I go somewhere to watch a game or something.

Never look back - I would recommend bottling a few off the tap to save for later tasting/comparison but other than that, have fun!

Oh, I definitely plan on bottling some. Just got my hands on 12 Grolsch bottles, with another 12 on the way (for free). Bottling was ok, (Hey, it was quality time for me and the wifey. I would fill and she would cap) but I like the convenience of just filling one giant container and being able to draw off just as much as I want. Tastings will be easier too.
