Wondering if anyone has ever attempted to drill through a tower to add an additional tap? Rather than buying a new dual tower, or even the extension they sell to go over the top, I'd like to just drill a new hole next to the existing single tap and drill new mounting screw holes at the bottom to be able to rotate the tower appropriately. I already have a 2nd shank/tap, hence my motivation to go this route. I've drilled through the front wall of a fridge to add a tap before, and imaging this would be a similar process, just a cylindrical surface.. But hesitancy brings me here!
The tower itself is a Draught Technologies model DTD6. Dimensions are 11.5" x 3" x (roughly) 1/16". Any insight or other cheap alternative ideas would be appreciated!
