I gotta say, I did not expect this to be such a polarizing issue. Very interesting! I guess I would be willing to part with the 4oz if it meant no yeast bomb for the first pour. Having said that, I've been too lazy to go and cut the tubes of my kegs so there... [\2cents]

Ah, it's not polarizing. It's just a matter of individual tastes, i.e., how much one likes to tinker and how much yeast one is willing to put up with.

I don't know why it makes a difference how much someone likes to tinkle. I happen to enjoy tinkling...but it may not be everyone's cup of tea...
