Default Cork bottles?

Quick question as I am gearing up for 2nd bottling. Do caps work on beer that was previously corked? Thanks all!

I'm going to say as a general rule, no. Most corked bottles have a huge lip on the top that a bottle cap won't fit/clamp onto.
