I found a CO2 tank next to the dumpster at a resturant I eat at regularly. I enquired about it and they said they were throwing it away and that I could have it.

But it's stamped Coca Cola Enterprises so now I wondering if I can get it filled?
I don't think CCE does this sort of thing any longer.

Does anyone on the forum know the deal?

You might be able to get it filled at a welding shop, but most "corporate" style gas companies that swap tanks won't touch it.

lol... sand to metal, fill with bondo, sand smooth, paint. Swap.

Is it in date?

Thanks I didn't realize this guy had found out what the CCE in canada wanted
him to do. Guess I didn't read far enough the first time to realize he was even talking about coke as he didn't mention them in the beginning.

I should add that I had a friend that hid similar tank. He had a liquor store fill it for him, but because it was a gas to gas fill, it was never truely very full. It just became a PITA.
