Default Club Soda / Soda Water

Greetings,
I have a keg of Water that I have force Carbed at 30 psi. Works great and it holds the carb well. I am dispensing at 30 PSI too.

Do I need to dispense at 30 psi or once it is carbed can I lower it to a more reasonable 10-15 psi?

Thanks

Kilroy

you can lower it for dispensing, but you'll need to turn it back up to 30psi, or it will vent carbonation into the headspace to equalize the pressure to 10-15psi.

the other option is using about 25-30 feet of beer line, to balance the system.

Thank you for the reply.
I guess I will just keep it at 30Psi till I get an extra long beer line for that keg.

I keep my soda water at 32 psi and use 15 feet of 3/16" line.

I keep my water keg and my beer kegs both at 8-12 psi. The carbonation calcs work the same for water as they do for beer
