Hey guys I just received some new 5/16 red gas line but never thought about the gas disconnect that is only 1/4 inch barb. Would a clamp be sufficient here or do I need something else to prevent leaking co2?

Your going to need something bigger than that 1/4in barb. You might be able to tighten the gas line enough to keep from leaking but you'll risk tearing the line, I know cuz I've done it.

Looks like it is the wrong size tubing for the clamp. there are adapters that you can get.

All my gas lines are 5/16" and all my fittings - disconnects, manifolds, etc. - are 1/4 ". I have about 11 total lines and no leaks, I just clamp everything down.
