Default Cheap Growler/bottle Filler!??!!!!!!

Has anyone used this filler before? It looks like the right idea and for 8 bucks cheaper than even making my own!

I just have a piece of tubing long enough to hit the end of the growler and push it over my tap. I think the tubing was less than 50 cents a foot

Does it work? And what size tubing you use?

Works great. Not sure the size of the tubing but it fits nicely over the tap.

If I'm filling from a picnic tap I just shove a piece of a broken racking cane in the end

I bet the BMBF (see: we don't need no stinkin' beer gun thread, top of forum) would work also. Could even use a bigger stopper to keep the fill slow and steady. Anything that fills from the bottom would suffice though.

Default New Kind of Growler filler .. and cheap too

This new Growler filler doesn't have a tube to go over the faucet. It has a metal fitting that goes inside the faucet. Its under 10 bucks at Draft Warehouse ( http://www.draftwarehouse.com ). Look under Tools and Fittings .

Let me know how it works if somebody gives it a try !
