Changing lines on dual tower
|

Anyone have any tips or tricks for doing this?
A regular wrench will not fit due to the faucets being too close together.

Mine just have a hose clamp holding the tubing on a barbed fitting.

Mine have the hose clamp too, but they are attached to the shank and angled tail piece.
Cannot reach without taking it apart.

Ahh....yeah, mine doesn't have the angled tail piece. Can you back the nut off?

I had an absolute bitch of a time putting mine together. The only way I found to tighten/loosen those damn things was to use needle nosed pliers and just force it. If you put enough pressure on them the teeth will have enough traction for you to turn the nut.
I never. Ever. want to have to change my beer lines.

Maybe once I get it apart, I will change the tail pice to a barb to make my life easier in the future.

You can unscrew the nut by holding a chisel on the edge of the nut and hitting it with a hammer, and spinning it off that way. Or buy the special wrench they make for this purpose.
