Default Carbonating in a Sanke?

I have filled a 1/6 barrel Sanke with homebrew. I removed the spear and siphoned the beer in to the keg and then replaced everything. I have chilled the beer down to 38 degrees. As far as I understand, I just need to set the regulator to 11 psi(for 2.5 volumes) and then hook up the coupler and engage it to carbonate the keg. Is this right? I have only used cornies before this. Will it take the same amount of time? about a week? Thanks

Beer is beer. Co2 is co2. And psi is psi.

The style of keg or the fittings used to transfer the pressurized gas are just a plumbing issue, they shouldn't have any affect on the process.

So, yeah, just follow the same procedure you use with cornies....

Just make sure you have a way to stop the beer from coming out once you tap the keg.
I use a ball valve like http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-...id-7419-1.html to make sure nothing leaks. ( I don't trust my el-cheapo cobra taps to hold back 30psi of forced carb)
