Yep but it takes less sugar than you need for bottles. Your first pint will have more sediment but after that you are good to go
 
some cut 1/2" off the dip tube so they dont suck up the cake off the bottom but the 1 time I did it only the first pint was full of yeast and the rest poured clear.. I got it real cold before pouring to try and compact the yeast bed in place :mug:
