Default Carb tabs for a belgian?

i want to keg my belgian golden strong ale, but i want to bottle a few of them in case i want to turn them in for competition.

i bought carb tabs, thinking they would be easier for individual bottles than measuring tiny amounts of sugar

the BGSA is supposed to be carbed to 4 volumes- is this more than the 'high carbonation' on the muntons carb tabs package? it says to use 5 tabs for high carbonation- is that enough for a belgian

also, can i expect this pressure to be too much for a normal (ex-sierra nevada) bottle, or will it be ok?

any help would be appreciated

I will not use CarbTabs again - they leave white floating chunks in the beer.

If you carbonate to 4 volumes, ordinary beer bottles are going to be dangerous. Domestic Champagne, Orval, Duvel-type 330ml, and heavy German 500ml bottles are stronger and take ordinary bottlecaps.

I've only used them in one batch. You'll see that lots of others have the same experience if you do a search. Example: http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f35/muntons-carbtabs-not-fan-101241/
