I can't seem to find this answer, so I apologize for asking.. but once a keg is carbed can it be removed from the gas?
Fall Line Brewing Companyhttp://www.beerisafourletterword.wordpress.com
Fermenter 1 - Spring Saison
Fermenter 2 -
Keg 1 - BCS Best Bitter
Keg 2 - McDole's APA
Keg 3 - BCS Robust Smoked Porter
Keg 4 - CYBI Obsidian Stout
Of course you can. It will keep pouring for a while until the pressure is too low to push the beer out anymore.
Yes. As long as you're not serving from it, or you don't have a leak, it'll stay carbed up indefinitely.
I'm just getting my kegging setup this week. I have 3 beers ready to be kegged, but will only be running 2 of them. I was wondering if it's possible to carb up all 3, but only hook up 2. Will the 3rd stay carbed until I'm ready to tap it?
I believe this should answer your question:
On tap: Oktoberfest, Centennial Blonde, AHS American Amber, AHS Bavarian Hefeweizen
On deck: American Wheat
Yep.. we posted simultaneously.
