Default c02 regulator problem

Hi all,

Just got a new fermentap c02 regulator from morebeer, when I went to force carbonate the safety valve on the regulator started hissing at 25 psi. Fermentap claims that the valve is set to open at 60 psi. Any thoughts as to why this would happen? Is it just a defective valve?

Thanks

I say defective valve. Call them and see what they say.
