Bottles on eBay. 8.5oz swing top clear glass

I was on ebay and I found a small swing top bottle for $2 each with free shipping.

8.5 OZ Dessert Clear Glass Bottle w/ swing top lid - eBay (item 190287527557 end time Mar-18-09 07:53:19 PDT)

So I was thinking about ordering a few just to play with. 8.5oz is small, but they look cute.

Has anyone else ever ordered these? do you think the glass is thich enough to bottle in them?

Are they the IKEA bottles? If so, I believe people have had success with them.

No the IKEA bottles are bigger.

BTW my LHBS ( listermann.com ) has the "IKEA bottles" for the same price as IKEA but i am not sure that they ship them.

$2 ! OMG I buy the 475ml Grolsch bottles from the recycling depot for $0.40 each...

Here in Cincinnati (Ohio, USA) recycling is done in bulk and sold to big companies. I already called around and I can't get a single bottle at ANY price from the recycling depot. Does anyone know of a place close to Cincinnati that I can get them cheap.

I would suggest you get as many as you can and sell them on eBay. I would happily pay $1.50 (USD) for a brown flip top bottle that is 12oz or bigger. $2 if it is kind of clean, has a new seal, and includes shipping. Just a thought.
