i would like to know if it is ok to sanitize bottles 24 hours before i intend to do the actual bottling of the beer.

That all depends on how you are sanitizing and then storing them. If you want to santize ahead of time, your best bet would be to leave the bottles in a bath of sanitizer and them pull them out to dry shortly before using them.

Well... a person can work up a mean, mean thirst after a hard day of nothing much at all.

This kind of an area is the best place for survival because you do have good, basically intelligent, hard working, decent people and they're all armed to the teeth... and that's my kind of people.
