Default Bicycle co2 cartridges for home brew kegs!!

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CO2-CARTRIDGE-16G-THREADED-BICYCLE-INFLATOR-PUMP-RavX-20-PACK-/330953436286?pt=AU_Cycling_New_&hash=item4d0e5cac7 e

Hi all, not sure if this link to ebay will work or not!
Im new to kegging and im thinking of getting a party keg. The little co2 cartridge kits you get from ebay are a bit pricey and don't come with many cartridges! My question to you guys that are more experienced is....
Are the co2 cartridges that are used for pumping up bike tyres exactly the same as the co2 cartridges that you use for charging up your party kegs??? If so its heaps cheaper on ebay just to buy the cartridges that are sold under bicycle inflator co2 cartridges!
On ebay you can get 20 16g cartridges for $29.50 free post under the inflator banner

Normally i would shy away from unknown (or known bad co2) but i took your bait! Often these non-food cartridges have impurities or even oil to keep whatever they're pressuring nice and lubed up. That's why the food ones cost more, they have to take extra steps to make sure they're clean.

Take a look at RavX's website, interestingly they say it's food grade gas... but should give them a call just in case (something's on the metal, etc):

But in general these little co2 cartridges are very expensive per unit of gas and it's much cheaper to go to a welding shop and get a 5lb tank.
