As long as the beer in the line is held at the temperature the beer was carbed at, the line is just an extension of the keg...

I have 11' lines a 2' rise with regulator pressure at 10 psi and the foam is out of control. The beer is dispensing at 42 degrees and the keezer is set to 38. I just built the keezer two weeks ago and have been trying to get the foam to stop ever since by changing pressure and temp. Should I cut the line shorter? Any suggestions would be great.

If all other things were equal, would you get more foam or less if you increase the tube from 3/16" to 1/4" ID?

More. Probably way more, because the line resistance of 1/4" ID tubing is roughly 25% that of 3/16" ID tubing...

Thank you, that solves my jockey box issue. I replaced the 3/16 short lines which just had a little too much foam with long 1/4 lines which are a disaster. In retrospect, I thought that was the issue. But thanks for the confirmation. Time to order some new 3/16 line. Thanks again.

I fixed the problem after another hour or two of reading.
