Default another noob question

when you are aging your beer for flavor maturation will it age the same in the refrigerator as in a cupboard? just wondering if the cool air will stop the ale yeast from doing anything. but carbonation really isn't an issue its on almost its third week and i cracked one open last week and it was carbed just fine. thanks you guys.

cool and constant is the key IMHO. Keep the questions coming - it makes me feel like I have something to offer the world!

I believe that once the beer is carbed refrigerate if you can. Now I know this is impossible for most of us but I think the cold helps clarify the beer.

I think you should bottle condition around 70 F or so.

2 weeks at this temp should carbonate.

After that, I'd cool it - will slow down any nasties (if any) that can funk out your beer.
