Default Advice for Special Reserve Batch

So for my brother-in-laws birthday I brewed a special, small batch of Imperial stout so he would feel special that only 1.5gallons of this stuff exists (hoping it tastes good ). In any case, I want to bottle them in 750ml bottles but can't decide between force carbing then bottling. or naturally carbonating them in bottle? In both situations I want to let them age a while before giving them to him. Any suggestions?

I would say carb them naturally. I force carbed then bottled a IIIPA after aging for 2 months then kept them at room temperature and they carbed a little more naturally resulting in champange-like carbonation. But I suppose if you age them in the fridge after force carb & bottling then it will keep this from happening.
